::.Waterbase Wood Lacquer “Akvis” Clearcoat

This high quality water base wood lacquer is universal solution for protection and decoration of wood. It is environmental friendly alternative of the traditional alkyd lacquers.

 

Based on high quality acrylic emulsions, “Akvis” wood lacquer provides many advantages compared to traditional solvent based products:
• fast drying
• better color retention
• easy application (no brush sticking)
• the dry film is resistant to biological contaminations
• low odor
• no fire danger
• no yellowing, the natural wood pattern is unchanged.
• environmentally friendly product, very low VOC content, lead free

Application
“Akvis” lacquer is milky semitransparent liquid. After drying it forms fully transparent, colorless film. The surfaces should be free from dust, oil stains and other contaminations. Use suitable primer for wood or this product diluted in ratio 1:1 with water. After priming polish with sandpaper and clear the dust. Apply the product by brush, roller or spray gun. For best result apply at 18 – 25°C and up to 70% humidity. Do not apply at temperatures below 8°C.
The lacquer dries in about 1 hour at 200C, second layer can be applied after 3 – 4 hours.
Clean the equipment with water immediately after finishing work.
Water base product. Keep from freezing.

• consumption: 80 – 100 g/m2
• Storage – in dry warehouses at temperature 5 - 30 °C, away from direct sunlight.
• best before – 12 months from the date of production.
