::. 2-component polyurethane primer

Function
2 komponent polyurethane primer for priming of well cleaned surfaces of ferrous metals before applying a coating of paints or enamels. It can be over-coated with alkyd, nitrocellulose, alky-stirol and polyurethane enamels.

Description
Polyurethane primer is fine dispersed system of special fillers, pigments, organic solvents and additives in polyol binder. It hardens with isocyanate hardener. PU proimer forms a smooth, matt coating with the following characteristics:
-resistance to temperature changes
-good adhesion and elasticity
-extremely quick drying of the film ( chemical reaction between the polyol component and the hardener)
-good resistance to moisture and aggressive substances which makes it suitable for industrial use
-after the reaction between the primer and the hardener the product is not dangerous for human health. It doesn’t cause harmful effect. The thermal decomposition does not occur. Lead free.

Application
The primer is applied by brush or spraying on previously prepared surfaces. Mix the primer with the hardener in ratio 4:1. If necessary, dilute with a thinner for polyurethane systems. The recommended working temperature is 18-25 °C and relative humidity – 70%. After mixing the primer with the hardener, the system must be used within 2-3 hours. The instruments should be cleaned immediately after work.

Technical data
The primer dries for 4-5 hours.
Consumption – 100-120 g/m2.
Storage – in dry warehouses at temperature up to 30 °C away from direct sunlight. Keep safe from fire and children! The hardener is extremely sensitive to moisture.
best before– 12 months from the man. date.
