Polyurethane varnish is a perfect system for wood protection. It is used for varnishing parquet, wooden floors, home and office furniture and other objects of wood.
Description
Polyurethane varnish is a system of polyol and organic solvents. It hardens with isocyanate hardener. Makes smooth, colorless coating, which is characterized with:
-high hardness
-excellent gloss
-very good resistance to friction
-extremely quick drying of the film (chemical reaction between polyol and the isocyanate hardener)
-good resistance to moisture and aggressive substances (oils, acids) and resistance to atmospheric influences
-after the reaction between the primer and the hardener the product is not dangerous to human health. The coating doesn’t cause harmful effect.
Way of use
It is applied by brush or spraying on previously prepared surfaces. The varnish should be mixed with the hardener in correlation 2:1. If necessary, it can be diluted with the thinner for polyurethane systems. The recommended temperature is 18°-25°C and relative humidity- 70%. After mixing the varnish with the hardener, the mixture must be used within 3-4 hours. The varnish should be applied in two layers. The instruments should be cleaned immediately after work.
Technical data
The varnish dries for 4-5 hours.
Consumption – 100-150 g/m2.
Storage – in dry warehouses at temperature up to 30 °C away from direct sunlight. Keep safe from fire and children! The hardener is very sensitive to moisture.
Guarantee period – 12 month from the date of production for the varnish and 8 months for the hardener.
